Hinduism and Vajrayana Buddhism are two main religion of the state and almost all the culture, tradition and festivals are based upon it. The monks or lamas of Sikkim fully believes on ancient history of the state and follows the traditional Buddhist culture.

How to reach Sikkim

Sikkim can be easily reached by travelling via road transport. After the arrival at either Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, the visitors need to hire a cab or travel by a public vehicle which will take them to Sikkim within few hours.
